New Dolphins tight end Dustin Keller probably doesn’t need any extra motivation heading into a pair of December games against his former team, but the Jets’ Quinton Coples might have provided it.

“Dustin Keller? I wouldn’t let him get off the line,” Coples said. “That’s the best way to cover, ain’t it?”

Coples didn’t stop at Keller, saying he can also stop Patriots’ tight end Rob Gronkowski. Coples was slightly more modest when it came to Gronk.
“Just don’t let him get off the line,” Coples told The Daily News. “I won’t just be one-on-one with him, I’ll have help.”
Keller, who looked like a key part of the Dolphins’ passing game in Monday’s OTA, will have to wait until December 1 to try to make Coples’ regret his words.
Miami plays in East Rutherford in Game 13 and then hosts the Jets in the season finale on December 29. Perhaps Keller will be going up against Coples with a playoff spot on the line?
